Japanese counting: Lesson 1

In Japanese writing or caligraphy they use numbers like the english form。The list is contaning the Japanese numbers。

If you are attempting to write a character greater than 10 just follow this tips。

• Just like the number eleven, 11 (十一),  write the number 10 (十) then add a character of one (一) 【just like this: 十一】It will define as 11 or eleven。By reading this characters will become (ju-i-chi)。
• If you are confused to write a character sort of 20, you have to first write the character (二) then add the character for ten (十)。By reading this characters will become (ni-ju) and will be determined to mean as 20。[Follow this step when you are whire numbers from english such as 30, 40, 50,...]。
